What Students Have To Say:

“Very, very informative & useful – encourages me to be in charge of my healthcare and gives me the confidence to “question” health care providers about tests, results, etc. The course answered my questions about procedures and steps to take to ensure I obtain better medical care.” Betty, Business owner

The book is good but I needed a time set aside to apply the book – this class was perfect! Putting this Savvy Patient Health Record notebook together as a group and with the homework did two things: 1) cemented the material in my mind 2) the notebook is done and waiting to be used.” Gayle Jacobs, Librarian

“This class has been so helpful to me. Just knowing the questions to ask, medical forms to complete and to have so much of my personal health information at my fingertips is so valuable. Many thanks to you, Margo.” Shirley

“Great information – much needed – doctors should hear some of this.” Judith

“The course is very beneficial. I know the right questions to ask for the best medical care, make the most of my healthcare dollars, and prevent deadly/costly medical errors. It familiarized me with what I have a right to know and helps in selecting the doctor best able to care for me.” Linda, University admissions

“When I took the course I wasn’t sure why I was doing it. I didn’t have any particular health issues. Two weeks after I finished the course I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was so grateful I was prepared for what lie ahead. I knew the questions to ask, how to track everything as I preceded, how to research my options and make decisions and so much more. I entered my journey with much more confidence than I would have had I not learned how to be a savvy patient. Thank you.” Kathy, Postal worker

“This has given me information that I believe is critical for me to know to provide better care for me & my family. I’ll also be able to help people in my church as well.” Betty, Montgomery, AL

“In our changing healthcare environment, we need to be more educated to advocate for proper care. This course is so well organized and detailed it’s amazing.”  Carol, Greenwood, SC

“Excellent story presentation mixed among the forms and data in order to understand the need for the information presented. Lives can be saved with the “right” information.” Sara, Apopka, FL

“The Information in this course is very helpful to individuals, but especially helpful to family members who care for a parent or a child. It is especially vital in this environment of healthcare that we are about to begin.” Judy, Montgomery, AL

“It is never too early to start collecting personal health information. This system provides and easy way to do it and have ready access to medical records when needed – very important in cases of accidents or due to moves.”  Glenda, Cross Cit, FL

“This course clearly explains the reasons to be “savvy” about healthcare in the technology age, how to be and the importance of being proactive in our healthcare.”  Trish, Lousiville, KY

“The content is worth a “12′ on a scale of 1 to 10. I admire and appreciate your preparation and your ability to put all of this information in print.” Ann, Prattville, AL
