Privacy Statement

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We collect the e-mail address of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user specific information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations. The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for individual consumer and used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes. Names and contact information is not shared with anyone. This information is for internal use only. If user shares personal or medical information with the owner it is held in confidence unless the user gives permission for their statemnets to be used as an endorsement. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending an e-mail, calling or writing, and telling us that you do not want to receive e-mail from our company.

Funding Policy

This site is solely funded by my self, Margo Corbett.

Advertising Policy

Our website does not host any form of advertisement. Links to external sites other than Margo’s other site The Savvy Patient School are not advertisements. They are provided for your reference.

Savvy Patient Toolkit participates in a link exchange program, but does not display banners for advertising on this site. We allow others to advertise this site on their sites.

Users

All users are by default considered non medical professionals.

The Savvy Patient Blog is a place to ask questions and share experiences. Each entry will be reviewed and if deemed inappropriate at the discretion of the owner or contains obscene language it will be removed immediately. If the person making the entry chooses to share personal or medical information they do so of their own choosing and the owner is not held liable for use of that information by others.

Internet users may not post any commercial/advertising comment.

Internet users commenting on my blog must post information which are true and correct to their knowledge. We invite you to provide resources (references, links, …) on health/medical claims when possible and relevant.
